Service department was the absolute worst. After Armando had my sierra duramax denail for a combination of 95 days, multiple false diagnosis's and multiple parts changed, the vehicle to this day still has the same problem. GMC of Santa Monica is literally a joke. I planned ahead for an extended test drive, confirmed multiple times, and everything seemed set. But the moment I arrived, the manager, Collin, came up to me and said, “This is not a rental place. If it was, then we’d just give out cars.” Seriously? After all that planning? Fine, whatever. On Friday 10/25 I spoke with Christine in Service department. She was unprofessional and rude the way she assisted with my oil change appointment request. She got frustrated very quick then hung up my phone just like that after several times asked me questions and couldn’t find my account in the system, then I called back right away and a gentleman able to assist me. Thanks god I got her name in first place. She made company look bad with her unprofessional behavior in my opinion. I prefer to look other GMC dealership who can provide better and professional services because good services will always bring customer comeback again and again and again and importantly referral to others as well

Don was a pleasure to work with to complete the transaction. Don responded quickly to calls and emails, is informative, helpful, no pressure and provided the facts. Worked as quickly as possible to complete the transaction.
I always bring my car here for maintenance especially for oil change. During the service, I received a phone call that the bottom oil plug was “stripped” and need a new one for $25. I agree to the fee but was upset that I had to pay for damage most likely made by the employees there since this is the only place I bring the car. Worse part was when I was about to pay they doubled it for $50. However I pointed out the issue and it was corrected. Also while waiting for them to make the payment correction someone came up to me to ask for the keys to move the car. The gentleman was not wearing a name tag or uniform and I did not give him my keys. Later on I asked about him and he indeed worked there. Employees should be wearing IDs. And it appears that they don’t wash cars here. All of these issues has most likely made my decision to no longer come here for service. *** So someone contacted me from Buick SM and will be refunding me the oil plug along with the other concern of employees not identified. I changed this from 1 to 3 stars and plan to return back to see if improvements have been made.
