GMC of Santa Monica is literally a joke. I planned ahead for an extended test drive, confirmed multiple times, and everything seemed set. But the moment I arrived, the manager, Collin, came up to me and said, “This is not a rental place. If it was, then we’d just give out cars.” Seriously? After all that planning? Fine, whatever. I figured I’d still test drive and get a quote. Then they hit me with $1,700/month with $3K down … for a Hummer EV. Excuse me, what? That’s beyond ridiculous.
